Monthly Council Meetings
Our monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month. The buffet line opens and 11:00 and the meeting starts at 11:30. We wrap it up at prior to 1:00. CVSA - Industry Roadside Driver Requirements Training Course March 31-April 4, 2025
This Course is for These are part A and B classes for industry offered by CVSA. This is an industry roadside inspection training course on driver-related roadside regulatory requirements and out-of-service conditions. The course will provide the motor carrier industry with the tools and knowledge to achieve compliance with driver safety regulations and a better understanding of the relationship between driver regulatory requirements and out-of-service conditions. An outstanding opportunity for those Safety Professionals with no CVE Law Enforcement background. Please click the tab below for additional information and registration.
2025 Texas Challenge - June 2nd - 5th
Texas Challenge is a competition put on by the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Commercial Vehicle Enforcement (CVE) Service in order to identify the best commercial vehicle inspectors to represent the State of Texas at the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s 2025 North American Inspectors Championship (NAIC), to be held August 19th through 23rd.
Texas Challenge, an event that improves the quality of our inspectors and their roadside inspections, also provides our partners in safety with the opportunity to fellowship and support our mission of safety and voluntary compliance. This year our competition will be held in Corpus Christi, from June 2nd through June 5th The event will be held at the American Bank Center and the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel. Both located next to the seawall. We look forward to another successful year and many more to come at these locations.
